IN continuation of its repositioning exercise, Linkserve Limited, the nation’s premier Internet Service Provider (ISP), has strengthen its management team by employing six new seasoned sales and marketing professionals.
Disclosing this to Champion Infotel, the Corporate Affairs Manager at Linkserve, Mrs. Ufoma ‘Daro, said the company recently employed a crop of seasoned sales and marketing managers as well as a financial adviser to move its business to the next level.
She said that the new managers include Mr. Vincent Akhimien as Channel Manager, Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), Mr. Fatai Alugo as head, VSAT Consumer Sales, West, Mr. Ayo Folagbade, Manager, Corporate VSAT sales, Mr. Leo Ikeson, Manager, VSAT Consumer Sales, Mr. Adeyinka Junaid, Channel Manager, Dial-Up, and Mr. Kenneth Onwudinjo, Financial Adviser.
According to Mrs. ‘Daro their employment was a strategic move to enable Linkserve provide better services for its esteemed customers nationwide.
She said that prior to his appointment, Mr. Akhimein, was the Sales Manager, Engineering products at UTC Nigeria Plc, where he had also worked as Sales Manager at General Telecom Plc and Unilever Nigeria.
Mr. Akhimein holds an MBA from LASU will bringing his wealth of experience in sales and marketing to better serve Linkserve’s VSAT customers.
She noted that Mr. Alugo, who holds a B.Sc in biological sciences and a masters degree in International relations was former regional sales manager at Tripple Gee and Company before joining Linkserve as head, VSAT consumer sales, West.
In addition, Mr. Alugo had worked as the marketing manager, NEET Nigeria Limited and Mabreta Electronics.
Similarly, the new manager corporate VSAT sales, Mr. Ayo Folagbade, holds a B.Sc degree in engineering and a masters in business administration, with a wealth of experience in sales.
Before now, Mr. Folagbade had worked as the manager of customer services at Xnet Security Technologies Limited, and as a general manager at Labyet Polaris.
Also, the manager, VSAT Consumer sales, Mr. Leo Ikeson, holds a B.Sc in political science with a wealth of experience in sales and marketing.
Previously Mr. Ikeson had worked as the sales and marketing manager at Koochi Communications Limited, and had worked at IntraCom International Services as the head of sales, marketing and business development.
Mrs. ‘Daro also disclosed that to take the company’s dial up services to greater heights, is the new Dial up Channel Manager, Mr. Yinka Junaid, an experienced marketer, who was the Managing Consultant at Mark Calthers Consulting before joining Linkserve.
Mr. Junaid also worked as a Senior Consultant with Vic Lawrence and Associates, in addition to having worked in Linkserve as the Head, Dial up business, Coordinator of Channel Partners and Branch Manager at the company’s branch office.
Equally engaged is an experienced financial analyst, Mr. Kenneth Onwudinjo, who would be working as financial adviser for Linkserve.
Before now, Mr. Onwudinjo had worked as the senior manager, strategic planning and business development at Coscharis Group Limited and as principal accountant, NIDB Trustees Limited whereas he holds a B.Sc in Accounting with several professional qualifications.
