The Nigeria Internet Group (NIG) would today, Wednesday inaugurate seven committees in Lagos.
Publicity Secretary of NIG, Mr. Qasim Akinreti said the inauguration is expected to leapfrog the programmes of the new leadership of NIG led by Mr. Lanre Ajayi.
He also said that the committees would include E-Readiness, Training, Youth Development, Publications, International Relations, Webmaster Certification and Internet For Job Initiative.
Mr. Akinreti gave the names of the committee chairmen as Destiny Amana, Olaleye Alao, Gbenga Sesan, Shina Badru, Remmy Nweke, Jide Awe and Bankole Olubanise in that order.
He further quoted Mr. Ajayi, as expressing optimism that the smooth take off of the committees will jump start various laudable programmes of his tenure with a view to moving ICT industry into the next level of “Technopreneurship Job Creation” in the country.
