Responding to questions, the Enterprise Business Manager for HP West Africa, Mr. Chukwuma Okpaka, said the BladeSystem has been in the market for sometimes now, but the BladeSystem C-Class is an enhancement of what was in the hitherto available.
According to him, the latest is already available for the region and precisely in the country as from July 1, this year.
He also said the launch which comprised technical sessions for dealers and end-users was to intimate them on the benefits embedded in the portfolio and BladeSystem C-class precisely.
He stressed that the HP portfolio drives its advantage from the best technologies across the brand’s innovations that make everything from non-stop servers to HP printers the best in the industry.
“The new innovation fundamentally improves how our customers buy, manage and use their computing resources” he declared.
Emphasised that by implementing a simple ‘out-of-the-box’ design, HP BladeSystem c-Class customers could dramatically reduce IT costs and the barriers to change presented by racked, stacked and wired data centres.
Also speaking on the new generation of ProLiant portfolio, Mr. Yakubu Hussaini of HP, noted that the new Central Processing Unit (CPU) technology introduced by Intel was in line with the HP portfolio.
“The new generations are developed for today’s demanding workloads,” he asserted.
