Ekuwem, Nwannenna storm IoD roundtable

PRESIDENT, Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem and his counterpart at the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Dr. Chris Nwannenna, would today, August 30, lead speakers at this month’s Institute of Directors (IoD) August roundtable.

Also to speak at the forum is the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, according to the Director-General (DG) IoD, Mrs. Elizabeth Fagbure.

She equally, said that the roundtable holding at the institute’s secretariat Ikoyi, has the theme, “IT and Telecommunications: Veritable Tools for Economic Growth.”

She emphasized that the theme, has been selected to sensitize directors and business leaders as well as the members of the IoD on how to re-invigorate the IT and telecoms sector in order to effectively harness opportunities, promote public and private partnerships and facilitate strategic trade alliances.

Additionally, the Group Managing Director of Linkserve Limited, Chief Chima Onyekwere, and Managing Director of Continental Re-insurance Plc, Mr. A. Adejumo, will both deliver the sponsors’ package, while chief host of the day is the President, IoD, Mr. Femi Ekundayo.

The IoD members’ evening is a monthly forum of the IoD where members, their spouses, friends and business associates interact and educate themselves on salient economic issues.
