Disclosing this to newsmen at the one-day technical forum put together by her firm, the Managing Director, Apice Investments Limited, Mrs. Sola Ogunde, said that apart from contemplating taking active part in the independent power implementation process currently taking its hold on the country, Apice may host the regional factory of the Pyramid Plus in collaboration with the Inform Elektronic of Turkey.
She also said that Apice is seriously envisaging Accra, the capital of Ghana and may open country office before next year.
Mrs. Ogunde pointed out that her firm, has all it takes to serve the Nigerian UPS market, especially in the area of human capacity and technological know-how.
Equally, she said, that Apice deals on Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR), Inverters, Infobat batteries to name a few and “we’re determined to continue to invest in the Nigerian and West African market, the people and the future generation.”
She explained that Inform Elektronik, manufacturers of various ranges of industrial and domestic products is also committed to continue development of user-friendly, reliable and intelligent products that conform with the world acclaimed standards, which the company has been known for in over 27 years of its operations.
Mrs. Ogunde listed some of Apice corporate clientele to include the Lagos State government, Planet Press, Lagos Television, Delta State government, Kogi Radio, Eko FM, Consolidated Media, Fidelity Bank Plc, Global Plus, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Minaj Broadcasting International, Access Bank Plc, and Intercontinental Bank Plc among others.
She said that Apice in partnership with Inform would strive to remain on top of power solutions in the sub-region and monitor effectively the infiltration of substandard versions of the brands.
“So that our users and customers will continue to enjoy the world acclaimed standards for which our brands are known,” Mrs. Ogunde said.
The partnership, she said, would improve on research and development investment to ensure that earlier products are not completely made obsolete, but would offer an upgrade.
“We would offer special arrangements to accommodate technological changes at very little cost,” the Apice boss said, just as they would not loose sight of stocking hardware and spares to ensure timely attention is given to their valued product users.
As said by her, they would further work towards sustain the period uses cum resellers technical forum to constantly update partners on emerging developments in the Inform products technology.
