The award organised by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, according to the Business Development and Corporate Affairs Manager at Linkserve, Mrs Clementine Ibekwe, prominent consideration for the awards were companies that are proactive with unique human capital development through the creation of jobs and industries.
She noted that organizations that have contributed immensely to the development and growth of the state such as Globacom, MTN, and Linkserve amongst others were part of the train of awardees.
The theme of this year’s event, she said, was “Leading Enterprise Revolution in Africa” just as a former presidential aspirant, Prof. Pat Utomi, delivered the keynote address.
As said by her, a press statement from the organisers, noted that Linkserve Limited, has remained consistent in its effort to revolutionize the industry through rendering cutting edge service.
“As a leader in the industry, it continuously seeks ways to improve its business relationship and service to their numerous customers,” the organisers said.
In addition, the organisers noted that through her commitment to the growth and development of the nation as a whole, Linkserve has made innovative investments in several millions of dollars in Internet development and penetration.
“By this it offers its customers deployment of superior, well managed and competitively priced high speed broadband Internet service,” the organisers stated.
Reacting to the honour, chief executive, Linkserve, Chief Chima Apugo Onyekwere, acknowledged that his firm’s customers are the real winners and commended the organizers for the award.
Chief Onyekwere also expressed thanks to the esteemed governing body of the initiative for the honour.
