Progenics is waxing stronger in West Africa – Izeji

Leading enterprise software development and systems integration powerhouse in the country, Progenics Corp Limited, has said that its recent expansion into the West African sub regional market is surpassing all expectations and making the company stronger.

Managing director, Progenics Ghana, a subsidiary of Progenics Corp Limited, Mr. Charles Izeji, explained that the firm’s move into Ghana last year, was borne out of its quest to showcase the very best of technological expertise outside Nigeria.

Mr. Izeji, who was at the Economic Commission for West Africa States (ECOWAS) Top 50 Technology Business Enterprises forum held in Lagos, at the weekend, informed that presently Progenics Ghana has successfully re-enacted the feat its parent company has achieved in Nigeria.

“Our business approach in Ghana, though quite different from that which obtains in Nigeria, has been very effective and rewarding for the company,” he declared.

He went ahead to state that the flagship product from the stables of Progenics, Symbols – a comprehensive investment and capital market application solution, is gradually exerting its presence in the Ghanaian market with the rest of the West African markets taking keen notice.

“So far we’ve implemented Symbols in a couple of leading investment and stock management companies in Ghana, and with the level of satisfaction and feedback we’ve been getting on its performance, we have no doubt that the application will take its rightful place in that market very soon,” he asserted.

Progenics was at the Top 50 forum, hosted by the IT Edge Intelligence Unit, having been recognized as one of the most vibrant Information Technology (IT) companies in the sub-region.

The company’s leading product, Symbols, has been controlling the capital market scene for the past three years.
