38th Gloworld goes to Abeokuta

Second National Operator (SNO), Globacom Limited, has taken its 38th Gloworld to Abeokuta, capital city of Ogun State, just as the telco reassured on the plans to have more outlets in all major towns nationwide.

Managing Director, Gloworld, Ms Sade Boyede informed at the commissioning that the telco targets 50 Gloworld centres within the next few months.

She also said that these centres were geared towards bringing world class telecommunications services to the doorsteps of its teeming subscribers in the country.

The company, she said, has resolved to remain the most customer-centric network provider to ensure not only that calls were made not just at the lowest tariffs but also see to it that customers stopped needless trips to transact business with the network.

“With Gloworld, Abeokuta, subscribers in the city and its environs do not have to travel to either Ota or Ibadan for SIM replacement, unblocking and other services that the Gloworld provides,” she asserted, adding that Gloworld was a one-stop shop where information is also obtainable on all the products of Globacom.

In his remarks, special guest at the occasion, Mr. Adesina Rosiji of the Central Bank of Nigeria, said he was impressed with the atmosphere of the centre and the potentials for customer satisfaction that it promises.

He advised other service providers to emulate Globacom, noting that the telco had shown its belief that the Nigerian people deserved the best services available in other nations of the world with the opening of the centres.

Equally speaking, chief executive of Megastores Abeokuta, Mr. Mr. Ayoyinka Akinyosoye, pointed out that Globacom had always shown interest in the welfare of Nigerians as it pioneered the Per Second Billing (PSB).

“With the intention to bring your services closer to your subscribers with the opening of Gloworld in all major towns of the country, you have successfully displayed that you are the market leader,” he affirmed.
