Sony Ericsson launches 2 Walkman series

Sony Ericsson Nigeria has unveiled two of its latest Walkman phones, W910i and W580i at a ceremony weekend in Lagos.

Presenting the phones, National Accounts Manager, Sony Ericsson Nigeria, Mr. Emeka Nkpa said that the two phones better described as sliding to a new Walkman beat, have been designed for entertainment.

According to him, W910 Walkman phone comes with music and third dimension (3D) games, video or high-speed web access.

“It’s also geared to let users choose their music,” he said, adding that with W910 select shake control allows it’s to be flicked to control games or skip and shuffle between music tracks.

“The W910 can hold over 90 of your favourite songs on the 1 Gigabyte memory stick micro that is provided out of the box, with room for plenty more thanks to the expandable memory,” he enlightened.

Mr. Nkpa further said that users of this Walkman series are availed quicker and easier than ever before method of transferring or downloading music on their fingertips.

On the W580i, he said, that the slider Walkman phone has been the best selling Sony Ericsson mobile phone globally since the third quarter of this year.

Designed to match users lifestyle, whether in the car, party, or busy, he noted that W580 steps in as a portable photo album and pocket gaming device.

Sony Ericsson, he disclosed would not be launching any new product in the country before the end of this year, even as W580i stereo headset enables users to listen to their music the way its meant to be; with deep bass, rich sounds and always crystal clear.

“Great earphones that deliver great sounds,” he declared.
