MTN lifts 100 subscribers in Kaduna

Telecommunications operator, MTN Nigeria Communications Limited has lifted 100 of its subscribers in the ancient city of Kaduna, to enhance the recently held Eid-el-kabir celebration, UGOCHINYERE NKWOCHA.

The gesture tagged “Going places with a heart full of thanks” by the management of MTN was aimed at recognizing the subscribers – to its success story over the years.

Speaking at the event, Brand manager in charge of MTN Xtra Connect, Hajia Sadiat Lawal Mohammed said the ceremony was a way of saying thank you to their customers, who have remained supportive.

She added that Nigerians have been patronizing MTN and it is only natural that they should be appreciated.

Hajia Mohammed stressed that MTN was about improving people’s welfare pointing out that the telecommunications giant would continue to say “thank you to the people for choosing to stay with us”.

She further said that the Xtra Connect platform was introduced for families and their friends and urged the people to stay with the “caring” network.

The 100 winners who emerged at the event were picked in a lucky dip lottery witnessed by all the guests at the grand Sallah carnival organized by MTN Xtra Connect to celebrate with Muslims.

The guests were treated to music by KC Presh from Lagos and Sultan Abdul, a Kaduna based artiste.

The lucky subscribers went away with generating sets, sound system, Digital Video Display (DVD) home theatres, bicycles and musical instrument, where as they expressed happiness with MTN and pledged to continue to patronize the organizer.
