MultiLinks makes two millionaires

Over 12 winners were at the weekend presented their cheques in the Telkom-Multilinks consumer promotion, which held last December nationwide, including two millionaires.

Those who emerged millionaires in the promo include a student of Federal Polytechnic Idah, Mr. Silver Ndu and Luv Business Centre based in Lagos.

Welcoming the winners to the presentation, Executive Director, Corporate Affairs at MultiLinks, Mr. Tayo Ekundayo, said that the occasion is to affirm the telco’s commitment to a better service delivery to its subscribers and also to recognise them as the reason MultiLinks has remain in business over the years.

Speaking to Champion Infotel after receiving his N1 million cheque, Mr. Ndu said that his first step afterwards is to put the money in a bank and replan his life so as to optimise the promo prize from MultiLinks.

In addition, he said, that although he has just concluded his Ordinary National Diploma in Business Administration and Management at Federal Poly Idah.

For the excited owner of Luv Business Centre, he has three MultiLinks lines and would as a matter of fact buy some more for the family use and especially for the wife.

Champion Infotel recalls that Telkom South Africa recently acquired the leading Private Telephone Operator (PTO), MultiLinks Telecommunications Limited, variously described as a marriage of two giants across the continent.

This is coming as the telco began injection of new fund into investment to the tune of $1 billion in five years on Multi-Links expansion.

The South Africa’s leading fixed-line operator, Telkom, it would be recalled recently acquired 75 per cent of Multi-Links for US$280 million.
