LTA-08 confab to hold in Abuja

THIS year’s Learning Technologies Africa (LTA) conference and exhibition has been scheduled for September 8 and 10, at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Abuja, reports cHARLES OKOH.

A press statement endorsed by the organisers said that the LTA conference and exhibition, with the theme: Towards delivering Qualitative Education, is expected to bring together top-level buyers and leading suppliers of training products and solutions.

They also said the event would draw participants from government, and non-governmental institutions with interest in quality education delivery based on global modern technologies.

Created to provide an international showcase of practical, effective and innovative approaches to modern day delivery of education, training and lifelong learning, the LTA the organisers added, will also attract top level executives, educational and government decision makers from various parts of the world who would be meeting to share knowledge and experiences to build partnerships and together create the solutions that will respond to the educational challenges of tomorrow.

The event which will also avail exhibitors with an unrivalled range of branding opportunities, according to him, also promises increased sales, launch of new products, improved brand awareness as well as generate new customers.

With the myriad of problems confronting the continent technologically, they noted that the conference will also be reflecting on the need to reform education and training systems for the knowledge society, promoting digital literacy and e-skills, up-skilling of the workforce as well as lifelong learning for all.
