Plans have been concluded by Abstech Computer Institute (ACI) for its second graduation and award ceremony for the 2008/2009 students.
A press statement from the ACI made available to ITRealms Online by the Proprietress of the Institute, Miss. Abiodun Opanuga said the institute is known for qualitative training of future Information Technology (IT) professionals, and parades qualified, efficient and hardworking teachers.
She said that the highlights of the event, scheduled for Saturday, September 6, at the school’s premises at Illa Oragun Street, Ketu/Agboyi Local government area of Lagos, include award of Diploma Certificates to deserving students in IT courses.
She explained that Abstech is not only an IT-based institution but was basically designed to produce professionals in order to cushion the effect of inadequate experts in the field of information management.
“We also handles training in Diploma for Desk-Top Publishing, Word Processing, Information Management school, Web and Graphic design respectively,” she said.
ACI, she added, was established in September 2006 with the aims and objectives “of our school being to continually build IT professionals.”
She added that few of the fresh graduating students would move into the labour market in search of suitable jobs in order to fill the available vacancies in both IT firms, industries, government sectors, commercial sectors, banking and finance corporate world, self employment while others may decide to further their courses in higher diploma in various computers and IT courses.
