Three more winners have emerged at the on-going Visafone Fantastic Bonanza 12 cars in 12 weeks promo at yet another draw held in Lagos.
The winners including two women and a man were picked at the second raffle draw in the series, namely, Tawa Longe, Sikiru Sule Ayo and Bukola Thomas.
This brings to five the number of winners in the current promo, which is billed to end on January 4, 2009.
Sikiru Sule Ayo, a meat seller at Yaba market was the cynosure of all eyes as a team of Visafone management and staff drove to the market to present him with his prize; a brand new Kia Rio saloon car.
Head, Corporate Communications at Visafone, Mr. Toni Kan Onwudi, said that to win in the promo, all a subscriber needs to do is to buy and activate a Visafone handset and then ensure its recharge with at least N400 weekly to qualify for the weekly draws.
“For old subscribers all you need do is recharge with at least N400 weekly,” he said.
Visafone, which has consummate banker and ICT philanthropist Jim Ovia as founder, commenced commercial operations on February 22, 2008 and crossed the 1 million subscriber mark in an unprecedented 6 months and 4 days. The company was also voted Best Telecom Brand of the Year 2008 in a Telecom News/Phillip Consulting survey.
ITRealms Online notes that two lucky subscribers of Visafone Limited, operators of the Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), emerged as owners of the branded 2008 Kia Rio cars in its first and second batch of raffle draws in the on-going fantastic bonanza offering 12 cars in 12 weeks, reports.
The subscribers who emerged at raffle draws held in Lagos included Mr. Kolawole Sampson of 7up Bottling Company Ibadan and Mr. Francis Ike, a resident of Gwagwalada, Abuja.
