GLOBAL System for Mobile Communications (GSM) giant, MTN Nigeria Communications Limited, has raised the fortunes of seven lucky winners of its on-going treasure hunt promo to the status of millionaires.
Each of the seven won one million naira to join the millionaires club on the network, while many more went home with consolation prizes of Plasma TV, Digital Video Display (DVD), and mobile phone sets at the event which took place at Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, General Manager, Consumer Marketing at MTN, Mr. Kolawole Oyeyemi, said, the Treasure Hunt promotion is to reward MTN customers during this festive season.
“MTN is committed to giving back to customers on its network whose continuous patronage sustains the business,” he said.
He also said the presentation was an indication that MTN always keeps to its promises, stressing that last year, the operator went round the country to touch the lives of its customers.
“This year we want to make Nigerians win one million naira each week, two million every two weeks and 10 million in the grand finale. What we are witnessing today is the making of seven millionaires who are already winners,” he said.
Oyeyemi further called on subscribers to take advantage of the promotion and change their fortunes.
MTN Treasure Hunt is an innovative consumer promotion which offers customers the opportunity to win one million naira every day for 100 days, in addition to other consolation prizes such as plasma TV sets, DVD players and handsets.
The latest millionaires including Edward Agu, Babatunde Abidokun, Cajeten Anikwe, Raheem Ibrahim, Adeola Oludare, Alhaji Lawal Sadi and Winnie Agadu as well as the consolation prize winners were present to receive their prizes at the venue.
