THE New Art Theatre of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in Enugu State, would today, Wednesday, play host to Nigerian students and young professionals at this year’s edition of the National Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (NAYES-08), reports CHARLES OKOH.
Tagged: The Internet, Imagination, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the summit would run from 2 to 5 p.m. and is free for all interested young entrepreneurs and upstarts.
A press statement from Hugtech Information Links organizers of the summit and signed by the President, Mr. Uche Ugochukwu, indicated that the event would be a platform to announce the national youths campaign for the information society aimed at raising the awareness of the importance of bridging the digital divide and creating the Nigerian information society which holds on May 17, 2009.
Ugochukwu, who is also the key speaker, said NAYES is about promoting entrepreneurship among youths in the country and to make outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship development in the country.
“We are providing an independent and credible platform for the promotion of innovation, creativity and imagination, well articulated, organized and structured entrepreneurship promotion and awareness programme,” he said.
