Stakeholders are warming up for this year’s edition of the Titans of Tech expo to be held in Lagos.
According to the organisers, led by the Managing Consultant, Technology Africa, Don Pedro Aganbi, some of those who have enlisted for the expo include Zinox Technologies, Systemtech and Karox.
He said that there is a strong indications that the number of exhibitors for the Titans of Tech 2009 expo and conference may exceed earlier expectation as Information and Communications Technologies firms scramble for space.
He also said that the like of Programos Software and Signal Alliance, have since booked their place for the exhibition.
“They join a hugely exciting list of companies which include Chams Plc, Wadof Software, Omatek Computers, Teledom Group, New Horizon, Helios Towers, NIIT among others,” he said, stressing that the focus of the Titans of Tech 2009 will be on enabling Nigeria and Nigerians to harness the benefits of creating a converged economy.
The event scheduled to take place between Wednesday 7 and Thursday, 8 April at the Muson Centre, in Lagos has the theme: “Realising the Potentials of a Converged Economy”.
Aganbi pointed out that the companies that have indicated interest to attend have demonstrated immense understanding of the potentials of convergence and will be at the exhibition to showcase latest technologies.
“And thus help to fast track deployment and adoption of converged devices and services in the country,” he said.
He further cited an instance with Karox, saying it is expected to storm the expo with its latest training models, courses and programmes in addition to opportunity for discounted training for selected visitors to the firm’s stand during the two-day event.
Zinox Technologies would be on hand with its top of the line, PCs, laptops, UPSes and home entertainment systems among other products.
On the theme of the two-day extravaganza, Aganbi said that theme was chosen in recognition of the fact that globally this is the era of convergence.
