Globacom, the Second National Operator (SNO), has unveiled its Easter promo dangling 20 per cent discount on any airtime recharge.
The promo which runs till Wednesday, April 15, 2009, offers 20 per cent free Glo to Glo airtime on every recharge above N100.
Marketing Director, Globacom, Mr. Jagatjit Singh disclosed that the bonus translates to N100 free airtime for every N500 recharge card denomination and N200 for every N1,000 recharge card.
He explained that a subscriber who recharges with the N2,000 denomination will be given N400 free airtime, while the N3,000 recharge denomination attracts N600 free airtime. On the other hand, every N5,000 recharge attracts a bonus airtime of N,1000, Glo subscribers can enjoy making glo-to-glo calls using this bonus.
Singh said the Special Easter Offer was launched to celebrate the Easter Season and reward subscribers for their loyalty to the network. He stressed that the gesture marked Glo out as a caring network as it was the most generous offer so far in the industry.
Glo Mobile, he said, had offered a similar promotion as part of its fifth year anniversary celebration in August last year.
Recalling that in the offer, recharges of over N500 attracted 20 per cent bonus airtime.
Meanwhile, eight winners at the Win & Rule promo held at the just concluded Enugu International Trade Fair.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Odoh, expressed appreciation to Globacom for fulfilling its promise and changing the lives of many Nigerians in different ways.
“Henceforth, I have made myself a Glo ambassador on account of its veritable empowerment of my people. I subscribe to Globacom’s philosophy of transforming the economic and social status of Nigerians, especially the underprivileged,” he said.
Globacom’s Regional Manager, Mr. Chudi Nwoye, said the company would not relent on its goal of making telephony accessible and affordable to a majority of Nigerians and indeed Africans, irrespective of their locations.
