Living up to its promise, the Second National Operator (SNO), Globacom Limited, recently hosted winners in the ‘Valentine Get-away Promo” at Obudu Cattle Ranch resort in Cross River State.
The occasion which lasted for days, also saw subscribers who were chosen in a draw conducted in Glo Mobile’s special Valentine promotions in February jointly being hosted to palatial reception.
ITRealms Online recollects that the dual promotions were launched on February 10 to celebrate the Valentine season and reward subscribers for their loyalty to the network.
According to Glo officials, five subscribers who emerged winners in the Valentine Getaway Promo were invited along with their partners for the all expenses-paid weekend vacation at the Obudu Cattle Ranch.
It was also gathered that the vacationers touched ground at the TINAPA Business Resortand the Marina Beach Resort both in Calabar for recreation and sightseeing.
The Valentine Getaway offer had required subscribers to call 32001 and answer correctly three out of five short questions to stand a chance to have the romantic getaway, courtesy of Globacom.
Speaking afterwards, one of the winners, Mr. Alo Adebayo, an executive with Coca-ColaNigeria said the vacation coincided with his annual leave commended the mobile arm of SNO for that exclusive privilege to be at Obudu Cattle Ranch.
“This vacation came at the right time, in the midst of my annual leave after recovering from my illness. Glo has given me the best of vacations,” he declared.
Another winner, Blessing Lorchir who is a student of the College of Education, Oju, Benue State said the trip was an eye opener and a great opportunity. “I love this place (Obudu Cattle Ranch), I enjoyed every minute here, “she said.
Lorchir who said all her family members are on the Glo network, lauded Glo for rewarding its subscribers.
