Winners of the on-going One9ja Game Show by Etisalat Nigeria have lauded the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) operator for that initiative.
Customers who emerged millionaires at the game show held last weekend in Enugu,
Enugu State, expressed their excitement as they received their cheques.
The game show, which is part of the on-going 9jillions promotion, is designed to generate millionaires across the six geo-political regions in addition to the grand prize win of one million dollar, just as 7 more millionaires emerged in Enugu.
Speaking after receiving her cheque, a 300 level law student of Abia State University, Oyidiya Torti, who led her team including Enyinya Torti, Ifeoma Iroha and Uzoma Mba was full of kind words for Etisalat after winning Two Million and Two Hundred Thousand (N2,200,000) in the game.
“Etisalat is real, it is the best GSM Company and I am so grateful to them for the opportunity to win such amount of money. God will never cease to bless and prosper their business as they affect the lives of Nigerians positively” she said.
Equally, another student from the University of Port Harcourt, Mr. Edward Amiah, said this life-changing experience has bestowed on him multiple blessings after he won Two Million and Two Hundred Thousand (N2, 200, 000) at the game show.
He expressed believe it is the hand of God working in his life and is eternally grateful to God through Etisalat.
“Whatever level I attain from now on in my educational career I give the credit to Etisalat. This couldn’t have come at a better time than now. I was faced with a situation where my mother who is a petty trader is ill and the little savings I had has gone into paying her huge hospital bills and my father is late so I was almost at the point of dropping out of school for lack of money to continue. Thanks to Etisalat, my education is back on track and my mum can now get good medical attention,” he asserted.
For a graphic designer Bolaji Adebowale, since inception of operation in the country, Etisalat, he said, has remained the most credible GSM operator in this country.
“I have participated in other promos before and I have not seen either a close relation or friends winning before. For me to have won, it only shows that Etisalat is the best and most rewarding of them all and come to think of it, they offer cheapest cost of participation. Up Etisalat, up 9ja for live,” he said.
Other winners who commended Etisalat included Danlami Hassan, Onunka Chiwendu, Orji Thomas; Chukwumah Chukwuemeka, Ezumezu Ike, Okocha Doris and Chukwumah Ikechukwu who won One Million Two Hundred and fifty Thousand Naira (N1,250,000) each as members of their teams. In her comment, Director, Segments and Strategy at Etisalat, Ms. Seki Akande, while presenting the cheques to the winners said that the game show is a platform to make more millionaires among Etisalat’s customers by touching their lives positively.
“The Game Show is Etisalat’s own way of identifying with our subscribers by touching their lives in a fun and positive way. To date, we have given out a total of 44 million naira and made over 30 lucky Nigerians happy millionaires” she said.
The game show is the second phase of the 9jillions promotion, the first phase is the Win 2 phones every hour of the day for 90 days.
