Etisalat Nigeria has concluded plans to host its distribution partners to an award night at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja by next week.
Acting Head, Corporation Communications at Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Yinka Ijabiyi, while disclosing this, weekend, said that the award, scheduled for March 4, 2010 in Abuja, is set to celebrate this unique partnership that keeps Nigeria talking.
“The award ceremony promises to be an evening of superlative fun, glitz and glamour as the company rolls out the red carpet for the distribution partners,” he said.
Ijabiyi quoted the Chief Commercial Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Wael Ammar, explained that the award nite is planned to celebrate and reward the distribution partners’ commitment to the success of the company’s business.
“The award nite is an opportunity to appreciate the unique role our distribution partners play in the success of our business. We aim to continue to motivate and spur them to greater heights,” he said.
Wael explained that distribution partners remain a key factor as Etisalat’s market share in the telecommunications sector continues to increase meteorically.
As said by him, Etisalat’s distribution partners play a key role in the fast and expansive development of the network and it is for this reason, amongst others, that the network operator is keen to continually engage with them.
“Rewarding them for the level of support they had given us and the level of support we look forward to receiving, is very much in line with our robust business strategy,” he said.
ITRealms Online recalls that Etisalat recently hosted its partners to a conference in Lagos where both parties reviewed their performance for the previous year and shared thoughts on how Etisalat could work with the dealers for a mutually rewarding experience in 2010.
“We constantly look to review our performances, share thoughts and understand our customers’ expectations in order to achieve optimal success as a business. When we understand where we are, we would be able to appreciate where we are going and what we need to get there,” he said.
