Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) operator, Visafone Communications Limited, has launched its Valentine promo tagged Valentine Benefits.
The company’s Deputy General Manager (DGM) Marketing and Strategy, Mr. Clifford Onyeike, said the launch of the promo is to add value to the excitement and extend love to couples, friends and family members on the network with a view to sharing an unforgettable Valentine experiences.
Onyeike said the initiative is a plan by Visafone to reward existing and new subscribers with exciting prizes, stressing that by sending an Short Messaging Service (SMS), subscribers could win any of the 50 prizes like 2.9 KVA generators, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) televisions, washing machines, free airtime, home theaters and CK music phones.
“Visafone is using this period of world-known social celebration to express love to Nigerians and further create a platform for empowerment. This is another way to demonstrate our commitment to continually add value to the lives of our subscribers,” he said, urging subscribers to take advantage provided by the initiative.
He described the promo as a wonderful opportunity for Nigerians to win several prizes and should not be missed.
Onyeike explained that to participate in the scheme, all the subscriber need to do is simply text the word ‘Love’ to 35100 and stand a chance of winning any of these exciting prizes.
He disclo3sed that prizes will be presented to winners at the end of the exercise, while two people will win a ticket for dinner weekly.
“These two winners that will emerge every week, will in turn get opportunity to invite one person of their choice each to the dinner,” Onyeike said.
It would be recalled that last year, Visafone engaged in a similar initiative, where it gave out lots of prizes to subscribers, thus making the Valentine celebration a memorable one for subscribers, even as the promo is expected to end on February 21, 2010.
