Leading mobile operator, Zain Nigeria has announced that subscribers to its StepUP package would begin to enjoy additional benefits that have been specially designed to suite their high-status lifestyle.
Zain StepUP customers would now enjoy access to VIP Lounge in selected airports in addition to receiving complimentary 100 short message service (SMS) and 100mb Internet access in the first month of subscription.
Also, customers on the package would enjoy priority routing at Zain consumer contact centers, blackberry offers, and automatic migration to Zain’s Rewardz loyalty programme which gives them the opportunity to reap other exciting lifestyle related benefits associated with membership of the scheme.
Additionally, the monthly access charge for the package has been lowered to N1,500 from N2,000 as part of the enhancement, thus giving the product users one of the best tariffs in the industry.
According to the Marketing Director of Zain Nigeria, Mr. Mostafa Younes, features of the enhanced Zain StepUP package have been carefully designed to meet the peculiar communication and lifestyle of high value customers, giving them ease of use, comfort value added services, convenience, and other fascinating benefits.
Younes explained that Zain StepUP is the first plan in Nigeria that reduces the price per second of calls as customers use their phones regardless of the time of day and network called.
He added that the more users of the package talk on the phone, the greater the benefits they will derive, stressing that customers can get more than 20 per cent saving on call cost if they make calls for more than three minutes daily in one month and over 50 per cent saving in call cost if they talk for just 10 minutes every day in a month.
“The package is the first plan in Nigeria for post paid and prepaid customers, that offers core lifestyle benefits and reduces the price per second as a customer uses their phone regardless of the time and the network the call is made to”, said Younes.
To enjoy the tariff plan, Zain customers are expected to recharge with a monthly access fee of N1, 500 and migrate to the service. On the other hand, new customers who want to connect with Zain StepUP package are required to purchase a new Zain SIM card, recharge their phone with a monthly access fee of N1, 500 and then dial the short code.
“At Zain, we are always looking for opportunities to delight our esteemed customers; and the introduction of the enhanced Zain StepUP package is a concerted effort to extend our brand promise of “ A Wonderful World’ to our customers across Nigeria,” said Shamel Hanafi, Chief Commercial officer.
