114 winneers emerge in Visafone Easter bonanza

A total of 144 winners emerged last weekend in the Visafone Easter package including two lucky subscribers who won brand Kia Rio.

The event, which held in Lagos saw the first in the line-up of draws, producing winners in several prizes comprised of generating sets, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) TV’s, home theatres, washing machines, CK music phones, Motorola V9m phones and N1,000 free airtime.

ITRealms Online recalled that Visafone, a leading Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) operator recently announced package to reward subscribers on the network with 10 cars in 10 weeks among other prizes.

The Managing Director, Visafone, Mr. Mr. Ramachandran Balachandran, expressed appreciation to subscribers of the network, “for their unwavering loyalty to the Visafone brand.”

He also said that the Visafone Easter celebration is an initiative in which 10 lucky subscribers would win 10 brand new Kia Rio cars in 10 weeks.

Also, he said the draws would be held in the weeks to come and would climax on May 30, 2010, when 10 lucky subscribers would have walked away with 10 cars.

The initiative involves new subscribers activating a new line and existing subscribers recharging at least N400 in a week to stand a chance of winning a car and other fantastic prizes.

Visafone, which recently updated its network capacity to 5 million, he said, is known for its programmes that are benefitting to subscribers, aside giving them value for money through attractive tariffs and excellent voice and data quality.

Balachandran, recollected that Visafone, which roll-out commercial operation in February, 2008, has grown to become Nigeria’s 4th largest mobile operator by active subscriber base, stressing that Visafone presently covers 23 states of the federation and over 171 cities nationwide.

The wholly Nigerian company operates with the service ideals of quality, clarity and coverage.

The network which promises to renew the joy of communication and give Nigerians the passport to reach the world, recently upgraded its network capacity to 5 million.

Visafone has recorded several firsts since its establishment, the most recent being its certification by CDG as the first Open Market Handsets (OMH) compliant network in Africa. Visafone has won several prestigious awards for excellence, innovation and customer initiatives.
