The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has pledged to support one of the nation’s Original Equipment Manufacturer, (OEM), Omatek Plc with the enabling environment for its products to thrive.
This would translate into an international business operations relating to the establishment of Omatek factories in other countries within the Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS).
Chairman, NEPC, Alhaji I. Jatau, who led the Nigerian delegation to the Omatek pavilion at the just concluded Ghana International Trade Fair in Accra, made this disclosure last weekend.
Alhaji Jatau who commended Omatek over its array of products on display at the Fair, immediately paid an unscheduled visit to the Omatek Computers Ghana factory where he described Omatek as a good example of the growth and achievement of Nigerian industrialists.
He reiterated that companies like Omatek who have made giant strides to establish factories in other countries like Ghana and other ECOWAS countries needed to be encouraged.
Receiving the delegation on behalf of Omatek Computers Ghana ltd, the General Manager, Mr. Nana Benneh said Omatek Computers Ghana Ltd was strategically sited as the export hub for other African countries, apart from Nigeria.
He enjoined Africans to patronize their own, stressing that Omatek products are of high quality, as the raw materials were sourced from the same high class manufacturers like the other foreign brands.

Additionally, he said, that Omatek Computers are best suited especially for the African Market because they have been built to withstand the heat and weather conditions prevalent in Africa.
Further, he said, visitors to Omatek pavilion at the Ghana International Trade Fair have the opportunity to win various prizes through a raffle draw, including Omatek DVD Player, Car Chargers, Speaker sets to name a few.
