The management of Aero, has declared that its offerings in the market currently outweigh any other services as far as online aviation products are concerned.

Speaking recently on Aero’s offerings, head, Commercial, Mr. Robert Prophet, noted that they have become a leading e-airline in West Africa.

This, he said, could be substantiated with Aero leads with various innovative online products and services aimed at saving passenger’s valuable time as well as making their travel experience more convenient and pleasurable.

According to him, the airline has also launched a new more vibrant website, which comes with a fresh new look and increased functionality for the user. On the website the user will find full details of Aero routes and schedules, contact details, products, services and a host of information about the company.

He explained that Aero ticket voucher is an innovative product that enables customers to book and pay online for flights. The ticket voucher is a 16 digit code generated together with a 4 digit pin number, with which Aero customers can pay for their bookings online. Customers can buy aero ticket vouchers online from Aero’s website and pay with any of the existing and currently acceptable electronic payment cards, and it is also available for sale at all Aero’s sales desk on cash payment.

Equally amazing online offer, he said, is the Excess baggage voucher, which is an electronic voucher generated online via Aero’s website www.flyaero.com which enables passengers to make prepayment for their excess baggage. It is a highly discounted medium to purchase and pay for excess baggage weight (kg),as this medium current offers 80% discount on our airport excess baggage charges. Excess baggage voucher can only be purchased by passengers with confirmed booking.

On the Aero’s Online check-in, he said, it has been making life easy for the passenger on the day of travel ,as they will no longer have to queue up for boarding passes at the airport. This is an online access given to all aero passengers with confirmed flight booking to be able to select their preference seats, check-in and print their boarding pass by them selves’ days ahead of their scheduled travel date.

Additionally, he said, that Aero’s ‘Book-on-Hold’ is a process whereby bookings made online are held for a period of 24hours and payments are made at any approved Bank Branches nationwide using Cash and ATM channels of member banks on the Interswitch network.
