Electronic giant, Samsung Mobile, has launched another mobile phone into the Nigerian market, known as Samsung Champ, reports Geraldine Okolie.
Director Hand-Held Product (HHP) at Samsung, Mr. Faddy Khatib said during the unveiling of Champ mobile phone in Lagos, that it’s the latest in stock which has a smart like features that impress at first sight.
“Beautiful to look at and comfortable to use; It combines style and portability, making it an ideal choice for the user,” he said.
Khatib explained that Samsung Champ, has very many features embedded which differentiates it from other Samsung products, including variant colours such as sweet pink, deep black, expresseo brown to name a few, in addition to enabled chat services, access to social networking sites like Twitter, Goggle, Flicker, to mention a few with full touch experience.
“Users can upload photos directly from their mobile phone to online sites; moreover, users download applications freely from Samsung’s Wireless Applications Protocol (WAP) site,” he said.
Aside, he said, Samsung Champ has 2 gigabytes and A2 4-inch screen, which is perfect showcase for all the mobiles.
Also, he said, the latest in stock comes with a stylus pen for your handy touch experience, whether you are checking online widgets, browsing through photos or listening to your favourite tunes, “You will enjoy the simplicity of it all.”
In addition, Khatib said other benefits are in the experience because these days’ phones are no more about receiving and phone calling only, but about interacting in the web.
“And in this phone you can have all these features and more. It is very portable and stylish .I would not want to disclose all the benefits there in, but will like to leave a suspense, until the buyer gets the product, then they can confirm it,” he assured.
Equally, Head Product Marketing for Samsung Nigeria, Mr. Jude Omozegie, said that Samsung Champ is one of the stylish products of all the mobile phones the company has come out with, noting that the hand-held comes with dual speakers which enable one groove offering earphone-free listening for an unparalleled audio experience.
He said, it comes with an FM radio antenna, which allows users to tune from anywhere even when using the speakers.
Further, Omozegie said, for Africa and Nigeria specifically, the phone comes with a green box representing Nigerian flag with 2 gigabyte memory card as well as with 1.7 mega pixel camera, while other parts of the world will get it as Video Graphics Array (VGA) camera.
“This product is affordable for the youths especially university students,” he declared.
