TELECOMMUNICATIONS operator, Starcomms has rewarded its loyal Smart Centres operators, with various prizes in the third edition of the Starcomms Bonuzee Loyalty promotion, reports CHARLES OKOH.
Excited by the various prizes, the elated winners did not hide their joy and appreciation for Starcomms Plc as they poured encomium on the company for the reward.
According to press statement made available to ITRealms Online, the operators who were present at the prize presentation ceremony went home with items ranging from cars, television sets, microwave ovens, DVD players as well as huge sums of money.
Titilayo Tokun, an educationist who combines the Smart Centre business with her career said even though the car was not her first, she was so excited that the news of the new car would add colour to the yuletide celebration in her family.
Tokun who operates her Smart Centre in Ibadan said she was indifferent when the news that she had won a new Kia Rio car came to her because of the prevalence of fraudulent claims in the country.
She however, said coming to the venue of the event and seeing the cars parked outside the premises of the event increased her excitement, just as she thanked Starcomms for putting smiles on her face and that of other Smart Centre operators who have been loyal to the brand.
For Sylvester Chukwuebuka Orji, the Onitsha based Smart Centre operator who braved the odds to confirm the authenticity of the prizes from Starcomms, the prize presentation is the beginning of the yuletide.
According to him, it was thoughtful of Starcomms to reward its loyal business partners during the yuletide saying that such gesture adds value to the Starcomms brand.
For Idiong Justice who won the cash prize of N750, 000, the gift offer from Starcomms has provided an opportunity for a celebration galore for him and his other colleagues who won other cash prizes of N500, 000 and N50, 000.00.
“We are happy that Starcomms is giving us this gift at a time like this in the year when families are looking for money to celebrate the Christmas and the New Year,” he said.
Presenting the prizes to all the winners, Chief Commercial Officer of Starcomms, Tushar Maheshwari said the Starcomms Bonuzee Loyalty promo, which began in 2007 was designed to reward diligence and good business sense, noting that it is the tradition in Starcomms to reward loyalty in business.
