MTN excites Ibadan subscribers with new packages

Leading Global System of Mobile Communications (GSM) service provider, MTN Nigeria, has excited its subscribers in the city of Ibadan with its three new packages.

The company’s Acting Senior Manager for Regional Marketing, Mr. Lawrence Akharume who disclosed this recent at the public presentation of the new packages listed the trio to include “MTN Talk-On”, “MTN Family and Friends” and “MTN Magic Number”.

Mr. Akharume remarked that MTN is constantly looking into ways of satisfying its teeming subscribers nationwide to enable them get best value for money.

Under the new tariffs regime, he said, MTN Talk-On package offers call rates as low as 25 kobo per second for all MTN to MTN calls. He added that the service is most suitable for long call duration to an unlimited number of people.

As for the MTN Family and Friends package, he explained that subscribers would get true value as they could call up to six different numbers including one on any other local network as well as one international number in either the United States of America or Canada, without any hidden charges or access fee.

Maintaining that MTN packages are generally affordable, Akharume emphasized that the company has “three times capacities” above its various competitors.

Akharume has more good news for telecommunications subscribers in the country saying that “within this New Year, every MTN customer will benefit in one way or the other.”

Lamenting the atrocities of vandals of telecommunications facilities, especially base station equipment in different parts of the country, he stressed that this has been a night mare for MTN management.

Particularly, he disclosed that an MTN engineer was recently killed by vandals in Abia State as he was busy servicing some base facilities in that state, he therefore appealed to the various communities and vigilante groups all over the country to further support the company by boosting security of life and property so as to checkmate the atrocities of telecommunications equipment vandals.
