Airtel Nigeria has introduced My Airtel, My Offer (MAMO) into the market with the aim of enabling customers on the network to personalize their choice of services.
Revealing this in Lagos at a media launch, the chief operating officer and executive director, Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Deepak Srivastava said that MAMO is a service designed with clear understanding of customers’ usage behaviour and preference in mind.
With MAMO, he said, customers could now choose and personalize their rewards, especially by dialing a specialized customer care line,141, to enjoy the free service of personalization.
He described MAMO as the birth of one of the most innovative services in the telecommunications industry in the country, Mr. Srivastava noted that over the past six months, Airtel has enjoyed tremendous support and goodwill through the roll out of its linage of unique bouquet of products and services.
He listed some of these products to include 2Good Xtra, Big family and 2SIM offer.
“Today, we are proud to present to you another first, another innovation and another market leader and game=changer, My Airtel, My Offer,” he declared.
Also, he said, MAMO was designed to give customers access to the latest and value enhancing offers that suits their specific needs.
According to him, MAMO is yet another proof of Airtel’s unwavering commitment to introducing innovative, relevant and customer-centric solutions.
The launch of MAMO, he said, perfectly complements the Airtel’s bouquet of affordable and equally ground-breaking products and services.
“This is a new and fresh approach to empowering our customers to choose and personalize their rewards, unlike the traditional promotions and reward mechanisms,” he said.
Srivastava pointed out that with the aid of technology and systems, MAMO service has been development with a unique ability to suggest the right product and offer to each customer within Airtel’s network.
With My Airtel My Offer, Airtel customers can select the best available product and service from tariff packages to recharge denominations and options, value-added services, validity periods, promotional offers, and other services. The aim of this service is to let customers know more about various offers that suit their requirements without being disturbed by unnecessary SMS’s.
He explained that to take complete advantage of this service, customers would be required to dial a toll free number, 141, from their mobile phones.
“Customers can also interact with the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) in their local languages and the products and offers are customized according to the customer’s past usage,” he said.
Airtel customers, he also said, could dial 141 to know more regarding the offer of the day.
“My Airtel My Offer has been launched only on the IVR platform as of now, but could be available via Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) soon,” he said.
