Zinox introduces pre-JAMB platform

Zinox Technologies has introduced examinations preparatory platform for Nigerian students.

The Managing Director of Zinox Computers, Mr. Emomine Mukoro, said that the poor performances of Nigerian students in examinations into tertiary institutions was at the bottom of why Zinox ventured into an examinations preparatory platform in order to forestall future occurrence of this national embarrassment.

“This first personal and portable exam preparation platform is specially designed to help Nigerian students improve their academic proficiency so as to excel at tertiary entrance examinations such as JAMB, WAEC, and NECO,” he said.

The platform, Mukoro said, is a state of the art Nigerian e-learning solution, embedded only in Zinox Computers, made up of over 100,000 questions and multiple answers based on past exams and simulating testing environment.

“Students can personalize their practice to best respond to their learning speed and style. Best of all, it is the only exam preparation platform that may be used without Internet access, absolutely anywhere with only Zinox computer,” he said.

Mukoro also said that the new Zinox offering allows students to customize their practice in any of the critical academic subjects.

“Students will be able to simulate JAMB/WAEC/NECO examination adjusting time per question and total test time to start gradually and advance as they master the subjects,” he said.

Pointing out that at any time, the student may check in detail the answer to questions.

According to him, the system keeps history of the student progress so as to enable him to monitor his or her own advance, of which student progress is exportable into Excel for further analysis by the student or his tutor cum parents.

The Zinox MD said that for the first time in history students who live in villages, creeks and other remote areas without regular access to Internet will be able to practice, learn and prefect in diverse academic areas.

He said that research undertaken during the development of the Zinox Portable Exam practice platform shows that only 4 hours of disciplined practice per week for a period of two months will suffice to provide the student a solid academic foundation.

In addition, students will have access to Zinox e-Learning platform online encompassing unrestricted download to over 2,000,000 academic electronic books and over 500 simulations. (5,000 MB of books including 50 kids books, 60 MP3 Audio books, 50 classic books in movie format and 50 technical e-books).

Mr. Mukoro urged governments, churches, mosques, NGO’s and individuals who are passionate in developing education in this country to take advantage of this platform by donating Zinox Computers to students in their neighborhood.

Zinox has been in the forefront of efforts to arrest the dwindling reading culture across all age-groups in Nigeria. At the launch of the Zinox e-learning suite the company decried the unavailability of libraries; the unrestricted access of youths to distractions like internet (where available) and uncensored films & videos; and the lack of adequate instructional materials in schools. The company has waged a relentless campaign against the falling standards of education in Nigeria through its initiative the Computerize Nigeria Project.
