The Chief Commercial Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Wael
Ammar, has said that the mobile operator’s 3.75G technology offers real value
to mobile internet subscribers.
He also said that Etisalat provides support for high data
rates that enable video streaming, improved voice quality, greater capacity and
improved multimedia services, global roaming between different 3G operational
environments, to name a few.
Ammar equally said that Etisalat’s 3G network is unique in
the sense that it is the highest technology attainable in the 3G network
category.
“Our network is now on the 3.75G network running 42 mbps,
which is the highest attainable speed on the 3G network. In line with ensuring
that our subscribers enjoy all the wonderful innovations and better network
service, we introduce to you our 3G network,” he said.
As said by him, through the introduction of the 3.75G
technology into the Nigerian telecommunications market, Etisalat Nigeria has
created a world-class communications infrastructure that would enable Nigerians
and businesses compete on the global stage as it offers fast, high quality,
reliable and efficient service and will give users real value for money.
He further explained that the Etisalat 3G network provides
users with a wider range of mobile broadband services and applications.
“This will include high speed Internet access, video
calling, application downloads supported across all internet capable devices
such as smartphones, Tablets, PCs and Netbooks,” he said.
Ammar pointed out that the acquisition of this technology is
programmed to continue to offer customers on this innovative mobile service
provider’s network an experience which has since kept and sustained their
loyalty to the Etisalat brand.
