Mobile devices
manufacturer, Nokia has sympathized with Nigeria on the event of the last
Sunday’s Dana plane crash in Lagos suburb of Iju.
A
press statement from Nokia in Lagos and made available to ITRealms Online, the
mobile device company stated that on behalf of staff and the entire management team
of Nokia West Africa.
“We join millions of
friends, institutions and partners to share our condolences with the nation on the
tragedy of the ill- fated DANAAir, flight 0992,” part of the statement read. Noting
that in times like this, human beings are all reminded of how truly connected people
could be, hence, Nokia wish to express sincere condolences to the families and
friends who lost loved ones.
The lives of some of
Nigeria’s best and brightest have been cut short and today, Nokia prays that
the families be granted the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“Our hearts are with the
bereaved and the entire nation at this time,” Nokia team in West Africa stated.
