Curiosity lands in Mars
The United States-based National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) says that it has proclaimed the landing of ‘Curiosity’ for Mars’ Red Planet.
According to Mr. Dwayne Brown, NASA is responsible for science and technology related to air and space.
The Space Age started in 1957 with the launch of the Soviet satellite Sputnik. NASA was created in 1958. The agency was created to oversee U.S. space exploration and aeronautics research.
Reacting to the development, President Barack Obama, who has said the landing "will stand as a point of national pride far into the future."
