The chief executive officer of Sidmach Technologies Nigeria
Limited, Mr. Chijioke Eke has commended the National Information Technology
Development Agency (NITDA) led by Mr. Peter Jack for putting up the Nigeria’s
Pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2014, reports ITRealms.
Mr. Eke also told ITRealms that getting to this stage of
international reputation, moreso in accepting to be the country partner for
GiTEX 2014 and described it as “fantastic.”
Sharing the aims of Sidmach Technologies in participating in
this year’s edition of GiTEX, Mr. Eke said that over the year, they have
pioneered a lot of innovation in the industry to stimulate computation of
educational activities at the institutional levels.
These, he said, comprise of electronic registration of
university students and engendering the electronic curriculum portal for
Nigerian academia.
Today, he said, that through deployment of one its solution,
mostly the e-Curriculum portal children are kept busy during holidays.
“We’re taking children aware from holiday vices,” he
declared.
Mr. Eke who was accompanied by the Deputy Managing Director
of the company, Mr. Peter Oragundade and Marketing Manager, Mrs. Funmi Lawal,
revealed to ITRealms that they are equally collaborating with the Nigerian
Educational Research and Development council (NERDC) by working towards
achieving the transformation agenda for Mr. President, Dr. Ebele Jonathan for
education.
In addition, he said they have deployed technology to aid
the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to make the recognition of
certificates from the West to other regional parts of Africa more and easy recognizable.
