Ndukwe picks APGA Senatorial form

ITRealms:
The chairman of OpenMedia Group and immediate past Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Ernest Ndukwe has picked his Senatorial nomination form on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), ITRealms reports.

The Chairman of APGA in Anambra State, Chief Mike Kwentoh confirmed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in a report sighted by ITRealms, saying that over 140 nomination forms was sold by the party since it commenced sales on October 27, 2014.

Kwentoh also affirmed that Dr. Ndukwe alongside the national chairman of the party, Chief Victor Umeh, Chief Dubem Obaze and Chief Patrick Obianwu have picked various nomination forms to vie for the 2015 elections.

Kwentoh ITRealms gathered disclosed this to NANA in a telephone chat, saying that the forms were sold to candidates vying for elective positions under the umbrella of APGA.

ITRealms recalls that in Anambra State, there are three Senatorial seats in addition to 11 Federal House of Representatives constituencies and 30 House of Assembly seats to be contested for by political aspirants in the 2015 general elections.

Equally, Kwentoh said the sale of forms by the party would end on Tuesday, November 4, with the possibility of extension.

As said by him, estimated 115 nomination forms were sold to aspirants into the Anambra House of Assembly, just as 24 forms were sold to House of Representatives aspirants, while nine forms were sold to Senate applicants.

For the deputy chairman of the party in the state, Chief Ifeanyi Udokwu, the beehive of activities at the state headquarters in Awka, capital of Anambra State since the sales of forms began is indicative that APGA remains the party to beat in the state.

Udokwu said that the rush for the party’s ticket was expected as the party had performed well there, adding that the party would extend the feat to the elections proper.

“And after the election, do not be surprised that APGA will win more positions at all levels than you have expected,” he assured.
