The Head, Voter Education and Publicity at INEC in the state, Alhaji Garba Galadima, reconfirmed to newsmen on Sunday in Gusau, saying security agents have started investigation on the case.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Sunusi Amiru while reacting to the incident said they already arrested some suspects in connection with the stolen card reader.
He reassured that they are determined to untangle the situations behind the missing machine.
“We will not tolerate any threat to disrupt election process and we have to ensure full protection of INEC materials” he declared.
Aminu also urged members of the public to cooperate with security agents and the INEC to ensure successful 2015 elections.
