Voting has picked up on high gear for
the 2015 young innovators competition, as Knowledge Chikundi, an undergraduate
student at the University of Zimbabwe, topping the chart with 8273 points and
369 votes, reports ITRealms.
The competition which is powered by Crowdicity,
is open to young people anywhere in the world to engage in the challenge, contribute,
comment, refine, and evolve ideas.
As gathered by ITRealms, the
Young Innovators Competition is an annual ITU Telecom Initiative aimed at
talented young social entrepreneurs using technology creatively to a range of
real-life developmental challenges.
ITRealms also
gathered that this years annual challenge seeks most exciting ideas or
start-ups in response to four developmental challenges running one after the
other in the months between now and ITU Telecom World 2015 in Budapest,
Hungary.
The challenge 1, ITRealms
gathered is centered on Entrepreneurship, while the deadline for the
application has been slated to close on the May 7, 2015 at 12noon.
