Re-elected Deputy Senate
President, His Excellency, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Ikeoha Ndigbo arrived Enugu,
the capital of Enugu State, to a rousing welcome, reports ITRealms.
According to Ekweremadu’s
special adviser, Mr. Uche Anichukwu, the Deputy Senate President, arrived Enugu this afternoon to a heroic
welcome
“The crowd was just too
much. Absolutely! Mammoth isn't enough to describe it,” he said.
Anichukwu also quoted
the chairman of Awgu and Aninri as emphasising that they were taken unawares as
they got wind of Ikeoha's private visit to Enugu very late.
“But being the first by
the DSP since his re-election, the people of Awgu and Aninri insisted they must
let Enugu know that the Eagle had landed. Little did they know that Ndi Enugu
had been lurking, eagerly awaiting any kepu-kepu about his return,” he said,
hence they came to honour him by giving a befitting welcome.
