The popular Ariaria Internatoional Market in
Aba, Abia State is boiling, due to police killing of a trader, reports ITRealms.
This is coming in the wake of recent protests by traders across South Eastern Nigeria over the
relocation of Boko Haram suspects in a prison in Ekwulobia, Anambra State.
According to eye-witnesses, the current
protest in Ariaria International market in Aba, Friday afternoon, was due to
killing of a trader by a happy trigger police man.
For Mr. Obalum Henry, "There is crisis in Ariaria
International Market Aba, Abia State," he confirmed.
Yet another eye witness, Ojiego Nelson
attributed the protest to the killing of a trader in front of his shop by the
Police.
“Police shot
dead one innocent youth in front of his shop,” Ojiego wrote on a Facebook
comment in Anambra Progressive Forum.
At the time of filing this story, ITRealms was unable to confirm the story from the Nigeria Police.
