Akpabio disowns Twitter, Facebook accounts

The Senate Minority Leader at the National Assembly, Chief Godswill Akpabio has disowned opening a Twitter and Facebook, saying he has not authorized such in recent times, report ITRealms.


But investigations by ITRealms revealed that at press time, Godswill Akpabio has four Facebook accounts, ranging from “Godswill Akpabio Government Official,” “Godswill Akpabio,” “Godswill Obot Akpabio,” and “Godswill Akpabio (obot).”


Although ‘Godswill Akpabio Government Official’ has 13,577 likes, others have no known followers on Facebook. The only Twitter account on @SenatorGodswill has not update in the last week.


According to NewsExpress.com, Senator Akpabio reportedly rejected Twitter and Facebook accounts opened on his behalf, and advised those involve to desist, insisting, “he has not authorised or cause to be opened any Facebook or Twitter account on his behalf.”


The report also quoted Akpabio in a press statement as saying appreciating Nigerians for the love they have shown his family members to traditional and religious leaders, who called daily to after his wellbeing.

ITRealms recalls that last Monday, Senator Akpabio convoy ran into a vehicle belonging to the Embassy of United States, causing him to be rushed to the National Hospital before he was subsequently flown to London.
