Easy Taxi Outlook App debuts on Microsoft Calendar




Taxi pool startup company on the Internet, Easy Taxi, has launched an update of its mobile application (MobApp) that is integrated into Microsoft’s popular email solution, Outlook, reports ITRealms.


The new mobile app, Easy Taxi for Outlook enable users to request a taxi within their Outlook email account when reminded of a calendar-saved event, thereby offering users other options of booking for a taxi.


A press statement by the Senior Public Relations & Communications Associate at Easy Taxi Nigeria, Mrs Tracy Effiom Oyekanmi , informed that the new solution allows users to schedule a taxi by simply setting up a notification that will be sent within Outlook, is aimed at optimizing a user’s arrival time to meetings, events, lunches, and other commitments.


She quoted the Global co-chief executive officer (CEO) of Easy Taxi, Dennis Wang said they want to offer more convenience and practicality to the users.


“During office hours, Outlook already notifies the person of a meeting through a reminder, now in the same Calendar tool the person can request a taxi. It’s extremely simple,” Wang said.


Also, the CEO said, the App connects taxi drivers and passengers, allowing them to experience a fast, convenient and safe ride at just the tap of a button.


Even as the Easy Taxi app is available for Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices, as well as for Business-to-Business (B2B) clients through Easy Taxi PRO and Easy Taxi Corporate solutions.


ITRealms recalls that Easy Taxi was launched in 2012 and currently available in 30 countries and 420 cities including Easy Taxi Nigeria in Lagos and Abuja.
