Jeffrey Akoh wins 2015 MTN Project Fame star prize

An Eighteen-year old Jeffrey Akoh at the weekend emerged the 2015 MTN Project Fame star prize winner, reports ITRealms.

A Sound Engineering graduate from the SAE Institute of Cape Town, South Africa, Jeffrey, ITRealms reports had unfailingly tends to wow judges and audience by reaching out to them with each performance.

ITRealms also reports that SAE based in Cape Town is a brand name in the film and music industries throughout the African continent for its high quality of education.

With his emergence, Jeffrey joins the likes of Iyanya, iMike, Ayoola, Chidinma, Monica, Olawale and Geoffrey as a Project Fame superstar, moreso as the 8th star winner.

Third runner up in the competition was Ada, with second runner up being Anderson and Pearl being the first runner up.

Vanguard reports that Jeffrey’s musical influencers include Chris Brown, Lawrence Flowers, and Kim Burrell.

By winning this prize, he received the grand prize of N5 million, a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a recording contract.

Other winners in this series include Pearl Olanma Awa-Agwu who got the second place and went home with a car and N3 million. 

Further, Anderson Emmanuel Amos came third, therefore went home with a car and N1 million; whereas the 4th place position went to Adanoritsewo ‘Ada’ Gold Tosanwumi and who received a prize of N1 million only.
