Speaking at the award and dinner nite 2015 organized by the
Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON), St Jude Chapter Mafoluku,
Oshodi, Hon. Idimogu said that out of all the PDP candidates that contested in Lagos
State, he
was the only candidate that was not taken to court after the election.
Hon. Idimogu also said his victory has never been contested
in the court despite the fact that his rival was the son of Lagos State APC
Chairman, and believes his victory in the elections came from persistent prayer
to Mother Mary at the grotto and his steadfastness to God.
He enjoined the youth to value the use of generous offertory
to God as a means of reaching to an end and for them to live a good moral life,
work hard and back up the dreams with prayer and trust in God.
One of the awardees, Mr. Innocent Emeh, dedicated his
award to all the people that have help
in the church foundation laying service and
commended the youths in the parish for their effort in sustaining the faith of
church despite the rampart case of technological development that push them
above the board.
The president of CYON in the parish, Mr. Emmanuel Agbo said
that the event was organized to appreciate the abundant selfless service some
people rendered for the growth of the church and indicate that the event will
all ways be an annual event to enable them give honour to the unlimited
individual that are assets to the church.
The category of the awards, include corporate body, individual,
church foundation laying award and meritorious awards.
