Nigerian customers now buy Emirates tickets on Quickteller



Nigerians can now enjoy multiple payment options when booking Emirates flights across several sales points in the country, reports ITRealms.

The new payment options are powered by Interswitch to offer customers greater convenience and choice as well as make the payment process more efficient.

Customers, ITRealms reports now have the ability to book on Emirates website, obtain a payment reference and pay using any of these channels: Paydirect platform at any bank branch across or at any ATM machines, Quickteller website; and Quickteller mobile applications.

Also, customers could pay by using their debit or prepaid cards directly on Emirates website.

By introducing these new payment options, Emirates will enable Nigerian customers to pay for their tickets using all types of local and international credit, debit and prepaid cards. 

Emirates’ Regional Manager for West Africa, Manoj Nair, said by integrating into Interswitch network and adopting their payment solutions as well as channels, Emirates is adopting a multiple payment platform. 

“This new feature will make it much easier for travelers to book their itinerary and pay for their flights whether through Emirates website www.emirates.com/ng  or at any Emirates offices,” he enthused.

The Divisional CEO, Industry Vertical Markets, Interswitch, Mrs Chinyere Don-Okhuofu said, “Interswitch takes pride in deploying world class solutions taking into consideration global standards whilst applying local market knowledge and realities. This has propelled our relationship with Emirates and has now successfully facilitated the processing of Emirates’ transactions on the Interswitch network.
