Breaking News@ITRealms:
The Senate a few minutes ago passed the 2016 budget after four months
following its presentation in December 2015, reports ITRealms.
Filters into our newsroom shows this is coming in spite of the enlongated drama surrounding the 2016 Appropriation Bill
owing to the reported padding of the budget which differ from what President
Muhammadu Buhari presented to a joint session of the National Assembly on
December 22, 2015.
On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, ITRealms gathered that the House of
Representatives passed the budget and extended it to the Senate.
ITRealms further gathered that the passage was postponed twice in the past
weeks owing to what some industry observers linked to the trial of Senate
President, Dr. Bukola Saraki by the Code Conduct Tribunal (CCT) over allegations
of inappropriate declaration purportedly made over 10 years.
