British Airways signs MoU with Airtel for customers pleasure

The British Airways has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airtel Nigeria to make certain their customers derive pleasure thereof, reports ITRealms.

This follows the strategic agreement enabling substantial discounts off tickets purchased in the next few months for customers.

British Airways' Regional Commercial Manager for West Africa, Kola Olayinka said at the ceremony in Lagos that both companies operated in similar markets and placed a premium on customer service.

"This partnership is a way in which we are able to offer benefits to our joint customers. If you already have an Airtel number, more details on our partnership will be shared with you, if you do not have an Airtel number, this would be a good time to get one, so you can enjoy the discounts we are offering," he said.

For the Airtel’s Chief Commercial officer, Mr. Ahmad Mokhles, who signed on behalf of his organization, expressed delight at the opportunity to team up with British Airways in the Nigeria market.

He explained that discounts to Airtel customers will be available to worldwide destinations, in the UK, United States, Canada, Europe and  parts of  Asia. Customers can choose and pick their preferred destinations for summer or even plan, prepare and book early for Christmas.
