Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has opened call for
application for its Next
Generation participants at the forthcoming Policy Forum, slated for
Johannesburg, South Africa, reports ITRealms.
According to
information reaching ITRealms, showed that Public Forum meeting has been slated
for Johannesburg, South Africa between June 26 through 29, 2017.
This call, ICANN said,
is for those between 18 and 30 years old and interested in the domain name
system, Internet governance issues, Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
public policy work.
In addition, ITRealms gathered
that the NextGen application time frame which commenced on Monday, January 16
is expected to close by February 24, 2017.
