A very senior police detective invariably in charge of the
case associated with the Chukwudumeje 'Evans' Onwuamadike, has disclosed how he
received in excess of 1,000 phone calls in a day on the case, reports ITRealms.
In a quick reaction over news report Saturday, Detective Abba
Kyari in his Facebook wall earlier today wrote that he got over 1,000 telephone
calls with regards to alleged vanishing of notorious kingpin.
Kyari urged Nigerians to disregard what he termed as “fake
news” from a major newspaper today that the most notorious kidnapper in the
history of Nigeria, Evens in “our custody has vanished” describing it as a ‘big
lie.’
According to him, in accordance with the 90-day remand order
from a Federal High Court, the “investigation covering 3 countries is in progress.“
“Its a false headline. We can never joke with the security
of Nigerians" he reassured.
