The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has arrested the embattled Senator,
Ovie Omo-Agege over an alleged involvement in the snatching of Mace from the
National Assembly upper legislative chamber on Wednesday, reports ITRealms.
The
Senator, ITRealms gathered was arrested immediate
after the plenary.
ITRealms recalled that Senator Ovie
Omo-Agege was suspended by the Senate for 90 days last week, for some curious reasons,
he attended the plenary yesterday and today, Thursday.
Hitherto, the National Assembly gave the Police and other
Security Services in the country 24 hours to recover the mace hijacked by some hoodlums
who were allegedly working for Omo-Agege.
Further, ITRealms gathered
that the Senate accused him of leading the armed men who stormed the chamber
and snatched the mace while plenary was ongoing, thereby creating uproar.

and rushed him into a waiting pickup van.
